Radar has turned Eastern Europe upside down. He has such a long list of wins, all owner- handled, and he attained his championship in three short months. We are delighted to hear of his multi-Groups wins, both Reserve Best In Show wins and Best In Show wins, out of both puppy (youth classes) and adult class. He is on his way to his next championship and has 2 CACIBs toward it as an adult as well. We are very proud of Radar and Nikky - they are awesome. We also congratulate Nikky on her recent marriage - we are so delighted for you both... so is Radar!

Sky has been to a few shows and garnered 8 points to date. She is shown here with handler Sue Meyers. We want to thank Sue for her help with showing Sky, as we have been so busy this year with many other projects. Sky is shown winning under Danny Canio at Sturgis Kennel Club. We would like to thank the other judges, such as Mr. Crepsap and Mrs. M. Patterson, who have also awarded Sky points and felt she was stunning, as we do. We hope for Christmas she will be another champion for Gibson and Diana.

Lilly has been to few shows, but has done well too, owner-handled by Lori Richardson, her co- breeder and owner. She has now taken 1 major win and has 8 points to her championship. We're proud of her and all the hard work Lori has put into Lilly. Thank you to judges Roger Hartinger and Lorraine Boutwell, who pointed her in puppy class. Wow, what a thrill it's been for us both. Thanks Lori for those weekends and your constant friendship; I couldn't ask for a better friend.

The Lone Star Whippet Club has had another successful year
filled with a multitude of activities. In 1999, AKC granted us
accreditation to hold conformation and lure coursing matches.
Since that time, we have held two well attended B-matches
and have completed the requirements for running AKC lure
coursing test and trials. We have grown to almost 50 members
from Texas and surrounding states. In 2000, we look forward to
running our first AKC lure trial, working on AFSA approval and
the holding of our first supported entry!
